Apple Punya "Head of Marketing" untuk Indonesia?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.COM -- Perusahaan teknologi Apple sudah mendapatkan seseorang yang akan menjabat sebagai head of marketing Apple di Indonesia. Apple akan mengumumkan kantor perwakilannya di Indonesia pada 2013.

Seorang sumber tepercaya mengatakan kepada KompasTekno, calon head of marketing Apple Indonesia itu berasal dari petinggi perusahaan elektronik yang sukses menjual ponsel di Indonesia. "Saat ini dia sedang ditempatkan di Singapura untuk waktu 3 sampai 6 bulan, setelah itu baru ke Jakarta," kata sumber tersebut.

Sumber KompasTekno enggan menyebut nama calon head of marketing itu, begitu juga dengan tanggal pasti peresmian kantor Apple di Indonesia.

Rencana Apple untuk mengekspansi bisnis di Indonesia tersiar pada Juni 2012 lalu. Pada tahap awal, mereka akan fokus pada bisnis ritel.

Apple membuka beberapa lowongan kerja untuk Indonesia lewat situs resminya dan jejaring sosial LinkedIn, antara lain berhubungan dengan pemasaran produk iPhone dan iPad, serta toko yang menjual produk elektronik Apple. Namun sekarang, semua tautan internet lowongan kerja itu telah ditutup.

Ini menandakan Apple sudah mendapat perwakilan untuk Indonesia. Tinggal menunggu pengumuman resminya.
